Carol Baumann

Carol Elaine Baumann, age 71, of Gull Lake passed away on December 3rd, 2017 at Cypress Regional Hospital with her family by her side. Carol was born in Saskatoon on October 30th 1946. She attended school at Wyandotte and graduated in Hanley. She went on to attend the University of Saskatchewan and received her Education Degree with a major in Home Economics. She began her teaching career in Vermillion, Alberta and continued on to work at Kitscotty and Islay. Carol took her final teaching post in Gull Lake, where she met the love of her life, Robert Baumann. Carol and Robert married on December 22nd, 1973 in Saskatoon. Carol and Bob made their home on the family farm north of Gull Lake. Carol always made the extra effort to stay in touch with family and friends. She loved writing letters and e-mails. Carol also made many cards for every occasion. She dearly loved her family and adored her grandchildren. She will be missed. Carol is survived by her husband Robert Baumann; daughter Paula Kinch (Robert); son Kevin Baumann (Diana); grandchildren Caleb, Ethan, Ian, Braden and Ella. Carol is also survived by her sister Dorothy Lockhart (Lewis) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Lucille Wilson and her brother Dale. The Celebration of life service was held Thursday December 14, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. From  Hazlet Community Hall with Carola Anderson officiating  the ushers were Edie Mead & Don Ebbert and the eulogists were Gloria Jansen & Lorine Sweeney and honorary   Guest book were Gerry & JoAnn Todd Honorary Pallbearers were  who shared in Carol's Life. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
